Job summary

Envitia, a UK-based software and services company, is seeking a Solution Architect to shape data-centric solutions for Defence and Central Government. You’ll lead the lifecycle from understanding the problem to delivering scalable architectures, working with customers and delivery teams across modern cloud platforms.

You’ll influence technical direction, articulate architectural roadmaps, and ensure outcomes meet security and regulatory standards while unlocking greater value from data.

Qualifications

• Designing and delivering enterprise-scale solution architectures.
• Gathering functional and non-functional requirements and translating them into practical designs.
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business needs and translate them into practical technical solutions.
• Develop architectural roadmaps and advisory artefacts to support transformation.
• Lead the design and delivery of modern solution architectures across platforms and tech stacks.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with objectives and delivery success.
• Provide technical leadership during solution reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
