Envitia, a UK-based software and services company, is seeking a Defence Solution Architect to bridge operational needs and technical delivery for data discovery and exchange across Defence environments. You will shape mission-led architectures, model data, define integration patterns and ensure alignment with Defence standards and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in Defence/national security environments.
• Ability to translate mission threads into architectures.
• Secure, scalable solution design across multi-domain environments.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (TOGAF, ArchiMate).
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end architectures for data discovery and exchange across Defence systems.
• Translate mission threads into scalable, secure technical solutions.
• Produce architectural artefacts and data models.
• Define integration approaches for data transformation and interoperability.
• Collaborate with mission engineering, software, data, and operations teams.
• Ensure security constraints and information exchange requirements are met.
• Identify risks and trade-offs, advising stakeholders.
• Support architectural reviews and provide reusable patterns.
