Job summary

Envitia is seeking a Data Architect to join our Consulting team, working with Defence and Central Government clients to shape data strategy and deliver real-world solutions. You’ll collaborate with customers to understand challenges, design scalable data platforms and governance, and drive architectural outcomes across Azure and AWS.

As part of the role, you’ll influence the data capability, engage with stakeholders, and contribute to proposals and solution designs while travelling to customer

Qualifications

• Design and implement data architectures for complex enterprise environments.
• Define data strategies and roadmaps aligned to business goals.
• Establish data governance and data quality practices.
• Communicate complex data concepts to both technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Design modern, scalable data architectures that solve complex customer challenges.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions.
• Define architectural roadmaps and target-state architectures.
• Lead data platforms, integration, governance, analytics and AI capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership from discovery through adoption.
• Work with delivery teams to turn architecture into working solutions.
• Advise on cloud adoption for Azure and AWS.
• Support proposals, solution designs and customer presentations.
• Contribute to Envitia’s data capability through reusable frameworks and accelerators.
