Role: Solution Architect (Cards & Payment)

Location: Northampton, UK (Hybrid 2-3 days onsite/week)

Contract: Inside IR35

Rate: 445 GBP/Day

Essential | Must-Have skills and experience:

• Expertise in architecting solutions across Cards related technologies, Open Banking, Tokenization
• Proven ability to thrive in unstructured, ambiguous environments and influence outcomes
• Experience managing diverse stakeholders and aligning conflicting objectives
• Financial services business and applications knowledge
• Ability to present complex technical ideas clearly and persuasively

Preferred skills and experience:

• Banking (retail) experience
• Experience in highly regulated environments
• API design strategies for internal and external use
• Cloud technologies, AWS Solution Architect certification
• Understanding of ITIL principles
• Architect training/certification (e.g., TOGAF)
• Data architecture and migration experience

Primary Responsibilities:

• Define and document technical solutions for Cards applications and middleware
• Collaborate with business teams to develop comprehensive requirements
• Support design and integration throughout the software development lifecycle
• Lead collaboration across design and build teams
• Maintain technical integrity and quality aligned with architecture strategy
