Job summary

Upland Software is seeking an analytical, commercially-minded Solution Analyst to join our UK team. You’ll transform market signals, partner feedback, win/loss insights, and installation-base opportunities into structured, actionable solution requirements, owning the problem definition before any solution work begins.

You’ll bridge business needs and solution design with stakeholders, use AI-powered research to accelerate discovery, and operate in fast two-week cycles to validate and scale

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business analysis, product discovery, solution consulting, or a related role.
• Strong requirements gathering experience, including workshops, interviews, process mapping, and requirements documentation.
• Demonstrated experience translating business needs into structured, actionable requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting commercial, operational, or market data.
• Comfortable using AI-powered research, analysis, and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Take in and validate opportunities from partner feedback, win/loss analysis, install-base intelligence, market trends, and stakeholder input.
• Outline solution requirements that clearly define the problem/use case, map business processes, pain points, requirements, constraints, and acceptance criteria.
• Bridge business and solution design by translating business needs into clear, testable requirements with the Solution Innovation team.
• Capture learnings from pilots and feedback to identify adoption barriers, insights, and opportunities for future portfolio decisions.
• Operate within fast two-week cycles leveraging AI and modern research techniques to accelerate discovery and analysis.
