TXM Recruit is partnering with a specialist engineering company to recruit a Mechanical Design Engineer for UAV launch systems in Herefordshire. You’ll create and develop designs for launch equipment, turning requirements into practical mechanical solutions while collaborating with the engineering team.

You’ll use SolidWorks to produce 3D models and drawings, integrate pneumatics as needed, and contribute to prototype builds and testing in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• SolidWorks in a mechanical design role.
• Produce accurate 3D models, assemblies and engineering drawings.
• Understanding of design for manufacture.
• Experience with pneumatics would be advantageous.
• Interest in UAVs, drones or aerospace equipment helpful.

Responsabilités

• Design and model mechanical assemblies for UAV launch systems using SolidWorks.
• Produce 3D models, detailed drawings and manufacturing information.
• Incorporate pneumatic components into equipment designs where required.
• Prepare bills of materials and supporting technical documentation.
