Spirehouse Recruitment is seeking a Solicitor with Personal Injury or Clinical Negligence experience to join a specialist law firm in Birmingham on a 12-month maternity cover. You will manage PI and CN caseloads, advise clients, and draft documents, working closely with medical experts and opponents.

The role offers hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 from home), a newly refurbished Birmingham city centre office, generous leave, and strong development opportunities with expert training.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with PI or Clinical Negligence experience.
• Experience of Claims Against Public Authorities, Abuse or Human Rights litigation would be advantageous.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Commercially aware, flexible and able to manage a varied caseload.

Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of PI and Clinical Negligence matters.
• Advising clients and providing clear, timely legal advice.
