Solicitor / Paralegal - Commercial Property - Ross-on-Wye - NQ+ or Experienced Paralegal

Location: Ross-on-Wye
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week, hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 (depending on experience)

A respected law firm is seeking a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Paralegal to join its Real Estate team in Ross-on-Wye, as part of a highly integrated and growing Commercial Property division. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied caseload and work with a diverse client base, including PLCs, international companies, sole traders, private individuals, and rural/agricultural clients.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for a broad range of commercial property matters, including:

  • Commercial property conveyancing
  • Assisting the Partner with drafting leases, licences, contracts, and overage agreements
  • Processing re‑mortgages and bridging finance
  • Taking instructions from clients and progressing matters to conclusion
  • Working collaboratively with the Partner and wider team on client-related matters
  • Managing day‑to‑day correspondence promptly
  • Supporting colleagues across other offices when required
Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor/legal executive (0-2 years PQE) or experienced paralegal with:

  • Proven experience in commercial property (including seats during training contract)
  • Experience with leasehold and freehold properties
  • Knowledge of transfers of part, leases, re‑mortgaging, and bridging finance (desirable)
  • Strong IT, organisational, and communication skills
  • A collaborative, team‑oriented approach
