Solicitor - Medical Negligence - Leeds

Join the medical negligence team at Irwin Mitchell in Leeds. This role focuses on managing high-value medical negligence cases, including children with brain injuries at birth and adults with spinal cord injuries.

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

• Manage your own caseload while assisting senior team members with more complex, high-value cases.
• Handle cases from start to finish, identifying key issues and proposing practical solutions for clients.
• Where possible, secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded.

About You

We are looking for a Solicitor with a passion for medical negligence and proven experience on high-value multi-track cases. Our ideal candidate will have:

• 1+ year PQE in Medical Negligence (we will also consider those due to qualify this year who have completed at least a 6-month seat in clinical negligence)
• Ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice
• Technical experience in medical negligence
• Experience assisting seniors across high-value, complex cases
• Ability to manage own caseloads with exceptional attention to detail and seamless service
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver the best outcomes for clients
