Chadwick Nott is recruiting a Solicitor to join its Industrial Disease team in Cardiff. Hybrid working arrangement and permanent, full-time role with a salary of £50,000 to £65,000.

You will manage your own caseload, advise on asbestos exposure and related claims, and work within a supportive claimant-focused Personal Injury department.

The role offers strong client contact, a collaborative team, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Interest or experience in industrial disease or asbestos claims.

Responsabilités

• Managing a varied caseload of industrial disease matters with appropriate supervision.
• Advising clients on liability, evidence and quantum.
• Drafting correspondence, witness statements and legal documents.
• Liaising with clients, medical experts, counsel and third parties.
• Reviewing medical records, employment history and evidential documents.
• Preparing well structured cases and progressing matters efficiently.
• Collaborating with colleagues across the PI team to support case strategy.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contributing to business development and profile raising activity.
