Chadwick Nott is representing a respected regional firm seeking a Family Associate or Senior Associate to join its Bath team. This role offers a varied caseload of privately funded family matters in a supportive environment recognised by Chambers and Legal 500.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years PQE in family law and a Law degree or equivalent (2:1). Hybrid working arrangements and a competitive salary are offered.

Solicitor – Family Associate / Senior Associate – Bath – 3+ Years PQE
Location: Bath
Type of Role: Permanent, Full-time (35 hours per week, with hybrid flexibility)
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000

A respected regional firm is seeking a Family Associate or Senior Associate to join its ambitious and growing Family team in Bath. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied caseload of privately funded family matters, within a supportive and inclusive environment recognised by Chambers and Legal 500.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for managing a varied caseload of family law matters, including:

• Finances on divorce and separation
• Children matters (including complex cases)
• Advising and assisting unmarried couples
• Providing expert advice to clients in line with your technical specialism
• Delivering a first-class service through effective file management
• Collaborating with colleagues across multiple offices to support client needs

Candidate Requirements

This role is suited to a qualified solicitor with:

• Minimum 3 years PQE in family law
• Law degree or equivalent qualification (minimum 2:1 or equivalent competency)
• Strong communication, organisational, and IT skills
• Commercial awareness and strong business acumen
• Ability to develop business in your own area of specialism and support other practice areas
• A collaborative, team-focused approach with ambition expressed through team achievement
