Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a qualified solicitor with broad criminal law experience to join our client's established criminal law and regulatory team. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact within the team and work on a variety of criminal law matters, including prosecutions and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle a diverse portfolio of criminal law matters, including prosecutions and advisory work.
Conduct court advocacy and provide legal representation for clients in sensitive situations.
Prepare and present cases in court, reviewing evidence and ensuring effective legal advice is delivered.
Provide a high degree of client care, maintaining professionalism and sensitivity throughout.
Offer sound, well-reasoned legal judgment and decision-making in all matters.
Flexibility to attend court when required, adapting to the demands of your caseload.
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases and tasks under pressure.
A qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in criminal law.
Experience in handling a wide range of criminal law cases, including prosecutions.
Strong court advocacy skills, with the ability to present cases clearly and persuasively.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong decision-making skills.
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
High level of client care and the ability to handle sensitive and complex matters.
Flexibility to attend court and adapt to varying case needs.
