Job summary

Ll Jnorth is recruiting a Senior/Principal Associate Solicitor (6+ PQE) to join its defendant professional indemnity team within the Construction Insurance group. The role is based in a flexible regional model with offices in multiple cities.

You will represent construction professionals—architects, engineers, contractors and consultants—on coverage disputes, advise insurers, and support the expanding insurance disputes practice in a collaborative, career‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• Senior/Principal level Solicitor with 6+ years of post-qualification experience.
• Strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation.
• Experience in private practice or in-house within a major insurer is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act for construction professionals including architects, engineers, contractors and consultants.
• Advise insurers on construction coverage and related disputes.
• Join a growing Construction Insurance team within the Insurance Disputes practice.

THE ROLE

We have an exceptional opportunity for a Senior/Principal Associate Solicitor 6 + PQE to join a leading defendant professional indemnity team. The role will sit in the growing Construction Insurance team, part of the firm's national Insurance Disputes team

You will be acting for construction professionals including; architects, engineers, contractors and specialist consultants.

The role can be based in Birmingham, Leeds, Manchester or Norwich

THE CANDIDATE

You will have a strong background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation. You will have gained experience in private practice (preferably at a large regional or City Law firm) or, alternatively, in-house with a major insurer

Candidates are expected to have solid experience advising insurers on construction coverage
