Job summary

HCB Solicitors Limited in Northampton invites applications from a qualified solicitor with a strong Commercial Property background. The role is based in our Northampton office and involves handling a broad range of property work with an emphasis on accuracy and client service.

You will work in a friendly, collaborative environment with a fixed-fee pricing approach where possible, supporting efficient delivery and high-quality advice to clients.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with Commercial Property experience.
• Strong organisational and prioritising skills.
• Excellent technical knowledge in Commercial Property.
• Experience across sale/purchase of commercial property, asset sales, property at auction, secured lending, landlord and tenant transactions, pension scheme transactions, land registry actions, Section 25 notices, and management company matters.

Responsibilities

• Handle sale and purchase of commercial property.
• Process sale of business assets and property at auction.
• Manage secured lending, mortgages and remortgages.
• Conduct landlord and tenant transactions including leases, renewals, licences to assign, licences to sublet and licences to alter, and surrenders.
• Assist with pension scheme transactions and land registry applications.
• Deal with Section 25 notices and work for management companies.

Solicitor - Commercial Property - Northampton

We are recruiting for a qualified lawyer to be based at our Northampton office.

The successful candidate will be undertaking a mix of Commercial Property work and must have excellent organisational and prioritising skills, an excellent technical knowledge, a natural aptitude, and a general Commercial Property background including:

• Sale and purchase of commercial property
• Sale of business assets
• Sale of property at auction
• Secured lending, mortgages and remortgages
• Landlord and Tenant transactions including: leases; renewals; licences to assign, licence to sublet and licence to alter applications; surrenders
• Pension scheme transactions including in specie transactions
• Land registry applications including first registrations, and assisting with adverse possession
• Dealing with Section 25 notices
• Acting on behalf of management companies

• Hours - Monday to Friday, 09:00 > 17:15
