Job summary

DWF, a leading global provider of integrated legal and business services, seeks an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its Scotland-based team. The role covers contentious and non-contentious employment matters across Scotland, the UK, and internationally, with hybrid working from Edinburgh or Glasgow offices.

You will advise on TUPE, restructures, corporate transactions, and conduct employment tribunal work, while mentoring junior colleagues and supporting business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with experience in Employment Law.
• Experience managing own caseload and advising on TUPE and corporate transactions is desirable.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and client management skills are required.
• Experience handling employment tribunal and dispute management matters is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment matters.
• Advise clients on TUPE, restructures, contracts, policies, disciplinary and grievance matters, and senior exits.
• Support Corporate and Commercial teams on employment aspects of transactions and M&A.
• Manage employment tribunal matters from inception to conclusion.
• Build strong client relationships and provide pragmatic, commercially focused advice.
• Support junior colleagues and contribute to business development activities.
