Job summary

Origin Legal Ltd. seeks an experienced Personal Injury solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (with litigation rights) to join the Personal Injury team in Nottingham. You will handle EL/PL claims from start to finish, with a mix of fast track and some multi‑track matters, generating documents and advising clients with a proactive approach.

The role requires at least 3 years PQE, strong client relationships, and a track record of achieving fees and KPIs in a busy environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handling EL/PL claims from start to finish with minimal supervision including litigated cases predominantly fast track but also some multi‑track claims

• Maintain and build on the team’s links with other teams in the firm

I am looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Personal Injury lawyer with at least 3 years PQE to join my clients Personal Injury team.

This is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active Personal Injury Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with Litigation Rights, to further develop skills and knowledge in a busy environment.

As a successful candidate you’ll have at least 3 year’s relevant experience to handle a large volume of new and existing EL/PL Portal and non-Portal claims from start to finish.

You’ll be working as part of the team in a pro-active and supportive environment.

It’s vital that the team are all highly engaged, and your input will be invaluable. All team members are expected to run their own files with appropriate support from colleagues.

Key aspects of the role include:

• The Personal Injury Protocol for Low Value Personal Injury (Employers Liability and Public Liability) Claims;
• The Pre-Action Protocol for Personal Injury Claims;
• The Civil Procedure Rules;
• Relevant primary and secondary legislation and Case Law.

Skills, experience and competencies you will have:

• Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (with litigation rights) with at least 3 years PQE
