We are looking for a casualty solicitor (2-6 years PQE) to join our Casualty team in Leeds. At present, the dedicated team comprises of a Partner, 2 Senior Associates, Associate, Solicitor, 2 Trainees and 2 Paralegals.
As a Solicitor/Associate in our Casualty team at Markel Law, you’ll manage a diverse and varied caseload, providing defendant work to insurers on a wide variety of disputes, including those relating to employers liability and public liability within the social care, equine and construction sectors. You’ll support the Head of Department in supervising/delegating to junior team members, subject to relevant experience and achieving departmental goals.
The role involves working on a mixed case load of fast track, intermediate and multi-track work primarily on cases funded under legal expenses insurance policies.
