Job summary

DTC | A Codan Company in Whiteley, Hampshire is seeking a Soldier Systems Product Manager with strong experience in dismounted and mounted communications, edge compute, and IP networking. You will own a dedicated product family, develop business cases, capture requirements, price, and drive GTM and lifecycle management across the product's life.

The role interfaces with end users, Sales, Engineering and Marketing; travel domestically and internationally, ensure compliance with military

Qualifications

Essential product management experience in defence or military tech.
Strong knowledge of Soldier Systems and IP networking.
Understanding of military compliance and standards.
Experience with RF test equipment and electronics lab tools.
Excellent communication; customer-facing experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Own an assigned product family roadmap and ensure up-to-date competitor analysis and GTM timelines.
Create business cases, capture requirements, and perform financial analysis (NPV, IRR, payback).
Coordinate with Engineering and Sales to ensure requirements are implemented and products meet needs.
Develop and manage GTM timelines and drive product launches with cross-functional teams.
Set up part numbers and pricing; update product configurators and participate in price reviews.
