Job summary

Impact Recruitment Services are recruiting a Production Technician for a specialist manufacturer based in Towcester. This hands-on role focuses on precise assembly, testing and preparation of precision instrumentation in a technically focused environment.

The salary ranges from £27,000 to £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, with Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5pm hours and a permanent contract. You will join a small, collaborative team in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

Qualifications

• Experience in production, manufacturing, assembly or technical environment.
• Soldering experience is advantageous, training possible.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable using hand tools and production equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including email and Excel.
• Good communication and team collaboration.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks carefully.
• Hands-on approach with interest in developing technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical housings and electronic components.
• Carry out soldering as part of the assembly process.
• Use hand tools and equipment to support production activities.
• Maintain accurate production records and record test results.
• Pack finished equipment for distribution.
• Collaborate with colleagues throughout the production process.
• Ensure products are assembled to required quality standards.
