Job summary

Good Energy is seeking a passionate Domestic Solar Sales Consultant to help homeowners across the UK switch to clean energy. You will conduct in-home consultations, tailor proposals, and guide customers from first contact to post-installation with expert advice and outstanding service.

You’ll use a mix of warm leads and local networking to build pipeline, travel when required, and work in a hybrid setup from our regional offices. A drive for growth and a belief in our mission are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in face-to-face sales, ideally in home energy/renewables.
• Ability to design bespoke solar solutions based on customer needs.
• Skilled at closing sales during or after in-home consultations.
• Clear, persuasive communication in person and via phone.
• Willingness to learn solar tech and explain it simply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home consultations to assess solar suitability and present tailored proposals.
• Convert inbound enquiries into installations with consultative guidance.
• Grow your pipeline via referrals, events, and local networking.
• Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
• Address questions on solar tech, financing, and installation.
• Build trust with homeowners through honest advice and follow-up.
• Coordinate with operations and technical teams for a smooth journey post-sale.
• Stay updated on domestic solar and battery tech to recommend best options.
• Represent Good Energy at local events and sustainability initiatives.
