Job summary

Elite Hire Solutions is recruiting a Domestic Electrician to support social housing and solar retrofit contracts in Staffordshire, including Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areas. You will install, upgrade and test electrical systems in occupied and void properties, with a focus on energy efficiency projects.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with local work, a company van, fuel card, bonus potential and overtime opportunities to increase earnings.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills essential for occupied properties.
• Independently manage daily workloads in social housing environments.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical installations, upgrades and remedial works in social housing properties.
• Perform solar PV and renewable energy retrofit installations and related electrical works.
• Install/upgrade consumer units, circuits and infrastructure.
• Conduct testing, inspection and fault-finding when qualified.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671 and safety standards.
• Maintain high customer service standards when working in occupied properties.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and tenancy managers for project delivery.
• Uphold health, safety and workmanship standards.
