Job summary

Ardour Associates Ltd is seeking a Renewables Service Engineer in Manchester to service, maintain and repair Solar PV systems and related renewables. The role covers ASHP, GSHP and MVHR support, with emphasis on fault-finding and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have electrical qualifications, Level 3 Solar PV installation, 18th Edition, and a full UK driving licence, delivering high-quality customer service and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / BPEC or equivalent electrical qualification (including AM2).
• Level 3 Solar PV Installation qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair Solar PV and renewable energy systems.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs across renewable technologies.
• Conduct site inspections, assessments and performance audits.
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency and recommend solutions.
• Provide technical advice to customers on operation and maintenance of renewable energy systems.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver improvements and solutions.
• Ensure work complies with legislation, industry standards and health & safety regulations.
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and compliance documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service while representing the business.
