Job summary

CleanEarth is seeking motivated and organised Project Managers to oversee solar PV projects across the UK. You will lead the design, construction and installation, coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver on time and within budget.

Travel nationwide is required, with a strong emphasis on health and safety, and a solid understanding of solar PV project finances and risk management. The role demands a methodical, process-driven approach and collaborative stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing solar PV design, installation and operation projects.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation for construction.
• Ability to coordinate design engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Willingness to travel across the UK as required.

Responsibilities

• Project management of design, construction, and installation for solar PV sites.
• Manage project health and safety, including risk assessments and method statements.
• Coordinate design engineers and subcontractors.
• Handle project design, estimation, budgeting and procurement.
• Provide technical input for feasibility stage projects.
• Liaise with clients, DNOs, suppliers and consultants.
• Conduct site visits to assess suitability for solar installations.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients.
• Travel throughout the UK as needed.
• Apply renewable energy industry knowledge to commercial solar PV projects.
• Ensure strong focus on health, safety and compliance.

Job Description:

Clean Earth are looking for motivated and organised Project Managers to work on our Solar PV projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Project management of the design, construction, and installation for solar PV sites.
• Management project Health and Safety, including writing risk assessments and method statements.
• Management of design engineers and subcontractors.
• Project design, estimation / budgeting and procurement.
• Providing technical input for feasibility stage projects.
• Liaising with clients, DNOs, suppliers and consultants.
• Conducting site visits to assess suitability for solar installations.
• Ensuring a collaborative relationship with clients.
• Flexibility to travel throughout the UK.
• Renewable energy industry knowledge and experience, with a particular focus on commercial solar PV design, installation and operation.
• Strong commitment to health and safety, and knowledge of H&S legislation as applicable to construction projects.
• Knowledge and understanding of solar project finances
• Ability and enthusiasm to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Be highly organised, methodical, detailed driven and have a process focused approach.
