Alecto Recruitment is partnering with a leading renewable energy client in Oxfordshire to recruit a qualified Electrician for Solar PV and Battery Storage installations across domestic and commercial properties.

Training into solar is provided; basic salary ranges £40,000–£43,000 with a company van, pension and tools. Monday–Friday, 40 hours; full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Must be an 18th Edition qualified electrician.
• NVQ Level 3 required; AM2 and related qualifications desirable.
• 2391 testing & inspection or equivalent is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission solar PV systems and battery storage for domestic and commercial properties.
• Work within an installation team across Oxfordshire regions.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.

Solar PV Electrician - Training Provided

£40k-£43k Basic Salary (negotiable depending on experience) + Company Van + Benefits

Location - Oxfordshire

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join a leading client of ours within the Solar PV and Renewable Energy industry and on a full-time employed basis.

It's a great opportunity for an electrician who wants to progress and train into the Solar industry. (with no specific solar experience required).

Working mainly throughout surrounding areas of Oxfordshire, you'll be responsible for the electrical installation of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.

Job Role

Working within a dedicated installation team, the position will be to install and commission solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and battery storage systems to residential and commercial customers. The role will see you working throughout mainly domestic properties, high-end luxury residential properties, some self-build homes, new build etc.

Salary/Package

• Up to £40,000 - £43,000 as a basic salary (negotiable subject to experience)
• Company Van for business use
• Full time employed - Monday to Friday as standard - 40 hour week
• Pension, Tools etc.

What We Are Looking For

• Must be an 18th Edition qualified electrician
• NVQ Level 3 Qualified, AM2 etc.
• Ideally relevant other electrical qualifications such as 2391 testing & inspection etc. (however not essential)
• Previous experience installing renewable energy systems such as Solar PV systems or Battery Storage systems is highly desirable, however training for the right electrician may be provided.
• Full UK driving licence
• You'll need to live commutable to Oxfordshire
