Job summary

Ganymede Energy in Manchester is recruiting a skilled Renewables Electrician to install Solar PV systems, EV chargers and battery storage on new-build housing developments, delivering high safety and quality.

You will work in a safe environment, complete paperwork accurately, and comply with MCS, health, safety, and quality frameworks; 18th Edition BS7671 and NVQ Level 3 required; company van, tools provided, 34 days leave, and a lucrative bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• 18th Edition BS7671 electrical qualifications.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures).
• Proven experience in solar installations or working within the new-build housing sector.

Responsibilities

• Installing Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all operational paperwork.

Ganymede Energy is partnering with the UK's largest and most successful Solar PV installation company to recruit a skilled Renewables Electrician. You will develop highly sought-after skills by installing EV chargers, Solar PV systems, battery storage, and innovative low-carbon technologies for leading new-build housing developers to help meet critical carbon reduction targets.

The Role

Operating in a safe, controlled environment, you will install cutting-edge renewable energy systems on new-build housing developments. Your mission is to deliver the highest standards of quality, safety, and customer service.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Installing Solar PV systems, including inverters and generation meters.
• Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all operational paperwork.
• Maintaining strict compliance with MCS guidelines, alongside standard Health, Safety, and Quality frameworks.

The Package

• Financial: £40,000 basic salary plus a lucrative bonus scheme, Realistic OTE £48 - £52K
• Work-Life Balance: 34 days of annual leave, inclusive of Bank Holidays and an extra day off for your birthday.
• Resources: Company van, fuel card, and all necessary tools provided.
• Schedule: Standard working week, Monday to Friday, 40 hours.

The Ideal Candidate

• 18th Edition Electrical Qualifications (BS7671).
• N/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (Buildings and Structures).
• Proven experience in solar installations or working within the new-build housing sector.
