Job summary

Emtec Energy is seeking an Electrical Supervisor to provide technical and site-based support across Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage, and grid connection projects. The role is predominantly site-based, covering surveys, design support, construction, commissioning and O&M.

You will work with Pre-Construction, Delivery, Commissioning and O&M teams, ensuring safe, efficient delivery, quality inspections and timely issue resolution on site.

Qualifications

• Must have strong electrical background in installation, commissioning or construction.
• Experience with Solar PV, BESS or grid connections is beneficial.
• Must hold UK driving licence and be able to work site-based across projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and technical assessments for solar and energy storage projects.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate site activities to ensure safety and quality.
• Assist with electrical testing, commissioning and fault-finding activities.
• Produce survey, inspection and commissioning reports and ensure RAMS and CDM compliance.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and on-site teams to keep projects moving.
