Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Solar Project Manager for Weybridge, Surrey. The role covers Solar PV and Battery Storage design, project management, and day-to-day operations across sites in the Southeast.

Approximately 90% commercial work and 10% residential, with about half time in the Weybridge office and half at site locations. You will own projects, coordinate customers, contractors and suppliers, and support the Technical Director as the division grows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Solar design experience.
• Gold Card or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Solar PV / EESS qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence.

Solar Project Manager

Weybridge, Surrey

£45,000 - £55,000 + Bonus / Commission + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Progression

Are you an experienced Solar professional with strong design and project management experience?

Do you want to become the right hand to a Technical Director and play a key role in growing a Solar division?

This is a brand new opportunity with an established electrical and sustainability business experiencing continued growth across its Solar PV and Battery Storage division. The role has been created to support expansion and provide additional senior support to the Technical Director.

You will take ownership of Solar PV and Battery Storage projects, covering design, project management, customers, contractors, suppliers and day to day operations. You will also coordinate the Renewables Assistant and attend site meetings and inspections. The role is approximately 90% commercial and 10% residential, with around 50% of your time based in the Weybridge office and the remainder across sites in the Southeast.

You will need 5+ years' Solar design a Gold Card or equivalent electrical qualification, relevant Solar PV / EESS qualifications and project management experience. Commercial Solar experience is preferred, although strong residential candidates will be considered. This is a long term opportunity with genuine progression as the division continues to grow.
