Job summary

Uniper is seeking a Development Manager focused on solar development to shape and accelerate growth in the UK. You will lead utility-scale solar and energy storage projects, manage the full development lifecycle, and build partnerships with external developers, landowners and regulators across the UK and Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience leading utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Experience with land agreements, permitting, and grid connection.
• Strong stakeholder and partner management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of solar and BESS projects across UK and Ireland.
• Manage full development lifecycle from origination to FID.
• Coordinate land, permitting, environmental, and grid activities.
• Lead external partners and internal teams to meet milestones.
• Drive due diligence and regulatory watch to maintain compliance.
• Build relationships with landowners, authorities, and grid operators.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Construction, Finance and Commercial teams.
