Job summary

SaveMoneyCutCarbon is seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to own the technical and operational delivery of commercial Solar PV and related renewable energy projects across the UK. You will lead our electrical and installation teams, subcontractors, partners and suppliers, ensuring safe, compliant, on-time delivery and high-quality customer handovers.

You will coordinate mobilisation, installation and commissioning, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified electrician with recognised electrical qualifications.
• Hands-on experience installing Solar PV systems.
• Strong planning and organisational skills.
• Confident communicating with customers, contractors and colleagues.
• Willing to travel throughout the UK as required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects after handover into delivery.
• Review scope, requirements, programme and delivery assumptions.
• Plan and coordinate labour, subcontractors, materials, equipment and access.
• Undertake pre-start meetings and site visits as required.
• Develop and manage project programmes and milestones.
• Coordinate installation teams and external contractors.
• Manage multiple projects at different stages of delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and address delays and technical issues.
• Identify changes in scope and manage variations.
• Drive projects through commissioning and handover.
• Manage contractors and installation teams to meet standards.
• Provide technical guidance to electricians and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with electrical regs and certification.
