  • Liaise with customers, subcontractors and internal teams to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure effective service delivery.
Essential Experience and Technical Knowledge

  • You will have a good understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, isolators and associated electrical equipment, as well as experience with low-voltage electrical installations and modifications.
  • Knowledge of electrical fault-finding techniques and system performance analysis is essential, alongside experience using solar PV testing equipment and monitoring platforms.
  • You must understand health and safety legislation, Permit to Work systems and safe working practices, with the ability to work at height and undertake manual handling activities safely.
  • Experience working across retail, commercial or multi-site environments would be advantageous.
  • A willingness to travel and work away from home when required is also essential.
Skills and Personal Attributes

We are looking for an organised, reliable and customer-focused engineer with strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

You will have good report-writing abilities, effective time management and the ability to prioritise workloads while working to deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important, alongside the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

You should be confident using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook and Excel, and demonstrate a professional, proactive approach to customer relationships.

A commitment to high-quality workmanship, safety and service standards is essential.
