Job summary

Stag Solar Solutions Ltd is seeking a dedicated Solar Panel Installer/Roofer to join our Essex installation team. You’ll install roof mounting systems and solar panels on domestic and commercial properties, while working safely at height and delivering high-quality workmanship.

We welcome applicants from solar or roofing backgrounds who value reliability, teamwork, and long-term career growth in renewable energy. A full UK driving licence and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working on roofs
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and develop in renewable energy
• Safety training or certifications preferred (PASMA/IPAF)

Responsibilities

• Install roof mounting systems on varied properties
• Install solar panels on domestic and commercial properties
• Work safely at height and maintain a tidy work area
• Carry out roof preparation and weatherproofing
• Manage cable routing and general installation support
• Provide on-site customer service and ensure quality workmanship

We’re looking for an experienced, reliable Solar Panel Installer/Roofer who takes pride in their work and enjoys working outdoors as part of a professional team.

Whether you already have solar experience or come from a roofing background, we’d like to hear from you.

The Role

Working as part of our installation team, you’ll be responsible for:

• Installing roof mounting systems
• Installing solar panels on domestic and commercial properties
• Working safely at height
• Roof preparation and weatherproofing
• Slate, tile and metal roof installations
• Flat roof mounting systems
• Cable routing and general installation support
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Delivering excellent customer service on site
• Experience working on roofs
• Comfortable working at height
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Good level of physical fitness
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail
• Roofing qualifications or trade experience
• PASMA or IPAF certification
• Working at Height training
• ECS or CSCS card
