Job summary

Eko Talent is seeking a Solar O&M Electrician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar farms across the UK. The role offers a £60,000 annual salary plus overtime, bonus, a company van and fuel card, and a Monday to Friday 8am–4pm schedule.

You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding on inverters/ transformers, and ensure compliance with HSE and electrical safety standards to maximise plant availability.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Ability to fault find on inverters, transformers, and LV/HV systems.
• Ability to perform testing and inspection of AC/DC systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems.
• Testing and inspection of AC/DC systems.
• Thermographic inspections and string testing.
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms.
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining records.
• Supporting HV switching operations where authorised.
• Ensuring compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards.
