Job summary

RES is seeking a Project Manager (Onboarding) for UK&I Solar O&M services. The role manages the adoption programme, supports business development, liaises with customers to monitor satisfaction, and drives service improvements. The position is permanent and full-time, primarily home or office based, with some travel to RES UK offices, customer premises and sites.

Qualifications

• Detailed technical knowledge of solar farms.
• Deep commercial awareness of solar O&M and how this evolves over the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of business risk management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the portfolio adoption programme from initial contact through to completion of the initial 3–6 months of each contract.
• Maintain customer relationships from contract sign-off, onboarding and early operation.
• Review existing adoption management quality documents and improve where needed.
• Plan resources for the adoption programme, including screening, interviews and inductions.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to plan sub-contracted services and ensure qualified contractors are available.
• Ensure provision of vehicles, tools, PPE and equipment for new team members and readiness of key teams/systems.
• Support site takeover activities including inspections, day-one checklists, and inaugural visits.
• Measure progress, hold reviews and take corrective action as needed.
• Hand over sites to O&M Manager while remaining involved for 3–6 months.
• Support Sales during bidding with strategic positioning, bids, pricing and contract reviews.
• Assist with contract renewals.
• Act as the ongoing escalation point for clients post-signature and monitor satisfaction.
• Liaise with clients to align assets onboarded with RES solutions.
• Support Additional Services via project teams including bidding, pricing and management.
• Lead service enhancements and new services (SENS) including cost reductions and potential acquisitions.
• Perform other duties commensurate with the role.
