Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Lead O&M Solar Engineer to manage field operations for multiple solar farm developments in the Yeovil area and surrounding locations. You will lead a team of technicians, oversee maintenance schedules, and support commissioning activities for new projects.

The ideal candidate has a strong electrical solar background with inverter, switchgear and HV systems experience, and holds a full UK driving license.

Field Based - Covering: Yeovil, Chard, Taunton, Bridgewater, Glastonbury, Shepton Mallet, Bruton and Surrounding Areas

£40,000 - £45,000 + Car + Healthcare + Life Assurance + Bonus + Holidays (28 plus banks)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global market leading renewable energy leader, where you will be the 'go to' technical expert within the team, within a company offering further training and career development.

The company are an engineering, procurement & construction specialist within the Renewables market, with a presence across the world. With major Solar farm developments across the the area managed above, my client is looking for Lead O&M Engineer to join the team.

In this role, you will be leading a team of technicians across varies solar farm developments. You will support with the maintenance schedules, be the 'go to' technical hands on engineer, commissioning of new farms and much more.

The ideal candidate will be from a strong electrical solar background, with previous experience working on Inverter, Switch gear and HV systems.

The Role:
