Job summary

Hunter Philips Executive Search is seeking a Client Representative – Site Manager (Client Side) for a 15-month freelance assignment on a solar PV project in Cornwall. You will act as the client's on-site representative, overseeing EPC contractors to deliver works safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.

The role requires strong renewables construction experience, ability to challenge contractors when needed, and excellent reporting and stakeholder liaison skills.

Qualifications

• Strong experience overseeing on-site construction in renewables.
• Ability to enforce quality and safety standards on site.
• Proven reporting, communication and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Experience with EPC contractors or project owners is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and readiness to work on Cornwall sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day client-side construction oversight.
• Monitor contractor performance throughout the programme.
• Carry out site inspections for quality, HSE and technical compliance.
• Ensure works align with approved designs and contractual requirements.
• Review progress and verify completed works for the client.
• Produce daily and weekly site reports.
• Raise and address quality, programme or safety concerns promptly.
• Attend project meetings and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
• Provide site information to support commercial reviews and valuations.
• Maintain a visible site presence during delivery.
