Position Overview:

We are seeking experienced subcontractors for our Solar division, specializing in SICRs, GN99, and GN98 installations, as well as quoting for works. This is an excellent opportunity for self-employed electricians to utilize a professional vehicle, collaborate with a reputable company, and deliver outstanding service to clients. Job Details:

  • Pay: £50,000 - £72,000 per year
  • Hours: Flexible, full commitment necessary to benefit from pay profiles. Out-of-hours callouts are optional.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
  • Level 3 Award in Electrical Installations (18th Edition)
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing or 2394/5
  • C&G 236 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent
  • EV Charging 2921 - 2931 (preferred)
  • NICEIC approved or equivalent (preferred)
  • NAPIT accreditation (preferred)
  • Solar 2399-11
Experience & Knowledge:
  • 5+ years as a qualified electrician
  • Experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning solar installations
  • 3 phase light commercial (preferred)
  • EV charging point installations (preferred)
  • Solar industry experience
  • Design software such as Solar Edge, Easy PV
  • Quoting and customer service skills
  • Job management and certification software (e.g., Icertify)
  • Mentoring apprentices and newly qualified electricians
  • Experience in domestic services environment
Skills & Abilities:
  • Effective communication with stakeholders
  • Building positive working relationships
  • Problem-solving skills
  • IT proficiency, including Apple devices
  • Organizational skills
  • Adherence to policies and procedures
