Job summary

Kemp Eko Talent Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Solar PV Technician to support the operation and maintenance of domestic and commercial solar PV assets. The role involves installation, testing, fault finding and ensuring strict safety and regulatory compliance across HV/LV systems.

Applicants should be able to perform preventative and corrective maintenance, conduct thermographic inspections, and produce detailed service reports, while working within a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on domestic and commercial solar PV systems
• Performing installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial solar PV systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
• Completing detailed service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Supporting HV switching operations (where authorised)
• Ensuring full compliance with UK HSE and electrical safety standards

£65,000 Per Annum + Overtime + Bonus + Van + Fuel Card

About the Role:

We have partnered with a UK-based solar installation and maintenance company, maintaining multi-megawatt solar PV assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Solar PV Technician to support the operation and maintenance of domestic and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on domestic and commercial solar PV systems
• Performing installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial solar PV systems
