Job summary

Solar O&M Technician role at Eko Talent in the UK-based solar O&M sector, maintaining multi-megawatt solar PV assets and supporting the UK's clean energy transition. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large-scale ground-mounted solar farms to maximise plant availability and performance.

Key duties include preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding on inverters/transformers, testing and inspection of AC/DC systems, thermographic inspections, monitoring

Qualifications

• Experience in preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems.
• Familiar with fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems.
• Experience with testing and inspection (AC/DC systems).
• Knowledge of UK HSE and electrical safety standards.

About the Role:

We have partnered with a UK-based solar O&M company, maintaining multi-megawatt solar PV assets and helping drive the UK's clean energy transition. Due to continued portfolio growth, we are seeking a skilled Solar O&M Technician to support the operation and maintenance of utility-scale solar sites.

As a Solar O&M Technician, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient maintenance of large-scale ground-mounted solar farms. You'll play a key role in ensuring maximum plant availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on utility-scale solar PV systems
• Fault finding and diagnostics on inverters, transformers, LV/HV systems
• Testing and inspection (AC/DC systems)
• Thermographic inspections and string testing
• Monitoring plant performance and responding to alarms
