Job summary

Win Berry is seeking experienced Contract Solar Electricians to join our network for ongoing contract work across commercial and domestic projects in the UK.

Whether you specialise in large rooftop installations or domestic/social housing, we offer immediate starts, weekly pay and a strong pipeline of projects across multiple locations.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, 18th Edition, 2391, and solar PV experience, own van and tools, and are self-employed.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solar Electrician with NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Solar PV installation on commercial or domestic projects.
• UK-based, able to work across multiple locations.
• Must be self-employed/contract basis with own van and tools.

Responsibilities

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems and perform AC/DC electrical installation.
• Install and commission inverters and connect wiring safely.
• Work with roofing and installation teams to deliver projects on time.
• Domestic/social housing solar work including inverters, alarms and extraction fans.

Requirements

The Role

Commercial Solar

• Install commercial rooftop Solar PV systems.
• AC/DC electrical installation.
• Install and commission inverters.
• Work alongside roofing and installation teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

Domestic / Social Housing Solar

• Install residential Solar PV systems.
• Fit inverters, smoke alarms and extractor fans.
• Typical systems range from 5-7 panels.
• All surveys and materials are provided.
