• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) is essential.
• Relevant Solar PV qualifications are essential.
• Experience in the renewable energy sector is desirable.

• Perform electrical wiring, testing, and inspections to meet regulatory standards.

About the Role

As a Solar Electrician, you’ll play a key role in installing, maintaining and commissioning domestic Solar PV systems and battery storage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and looking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and commission domestic Solar PV and battery storage systems
• Perform electrical wiring, testing and inspections to meet regulatory standards
• Diagnose and repair faults in renewable energy systems
• Ensure compliance with current wiring regulations and health & safety standards
• Complete necessary documentation and certification for installations

Requirements

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) – essential
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent and relevant Solar PV Quals– essential
• Testing and Inspection 2391 qualification
• Experience in the renewable energy sector – desirable
• Proven experience with Solar PV and battery storage systems
• Full UK driving licence
• Valid DBS check and CSCS card
