Job summary

Tiro Training Ltd through the Bristol-based Laboratory Materials Technician Apprenticeship offers a practical route into materials testing. You will support day-to-day laboratory operations, carry out soil tests, prepare samples, and maintain accurate records while learning to use specialist equipment under supervision.

Joining as an apprentice, you will follow industry standards, work safely with PPE, and gradually take on more responsibility as skills grow within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Undertake a range of soil tests to industry standards.
• Prepare, label and store soil samples correctly.
• Record test data clearly for analysis and reporting.
• Follow health and safety procedures and PPE usage.
