Job summary

Digital Native is offering a practical entry route into software testing through a Level 4 Software Tester apprenticeship. You’ll join the Software Support Team in Hayle, gaining hands-on experience with real systems used by colleagues, customers and guests.

This apprenticeship focuses on troubleshooting, testing, documentation and QA, with guidance from colleagues and a training provider as you learn to write test plans and contribute to testing guidelines.

Qualifications

• 7 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 9-4 or A-C including English and Mathematics
• 3 A Levels at grades A - C (or equivalent) in STEM subjects

Responsibilities

• Investigate issues and test changes with Software Support and Development
• Create and maintain manual test plans for fixes, changes and key workflows
• Support automated testing as skills develop
• Check the quality of changes before and after release
• Contribute to testing guidelines, checklists and internal documentation
