Job summary

Gloucestershire College is offering a dynamic Junior QA Engineer apprenticeship. You will learn on the job, test and validate our products, and work with developers, designers and QA specialists to translate user requirements into functional software solutions.

The role runs for 2 years, with 37 hours 30 minutes per week and hours from 9am to 5pm. A wage of £15,600 is paid in the first year, with increases possible as you gain experience and depending on age.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths required.
• 2 A Levels, one in STEM or a Level 3 IT Apprenticeship.
• Other relevant qualifications may be considered.
• This apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.

Responsibilities

• Create test scripts (automated and manual).
• Run test and UAT build pipelines.
• Develop test plans.
• Develop testing strategies for existing and new projects.
• Support customers with UAT testing issues.
• Assist team in reproducing issues in production.
