Job summary

The Vella Group Repair Centres is seeking a Software Test Manager in the North-West of England, with hybrid working (three days a week in the office). You will lead test strategy, manage SIT/UAT across systems, and drive automation and data validation using SQL and CI/CD pipelines.

You will collaborate with stakeholders to demonstrate tested functionality and improvements, ensuring quality throughout the software lifecycle in a dynamic IT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Ability to design and execute end-to-end system tests across backend, database and frontend.
• Advanced SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
• Strong analytical thinking to understand complex systems and processes.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Advanced SQL proficiency for data validation and backend testing.

Desirable

• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.
