The Role

You will be part of Sensor Systems UK, working in the Farnborough office. We are a diverse group of professionals and our work culture and organisation values everybody's opinion - these differences set the conditions for our competitive advantage.

As a Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the software. You’ll work closely with all the software developers, providing feedback and learning from each other to achieve the best quality.

Role Requirements

• Review software requirements and prepare test scenarios
• Create and execute tests on the software
• Analyse test results and report errors or bugs
• Prepare and release test specifications and protocols
• Communicate with surrounding teams
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to requirements, product design, and improvement workshops
• Enhance automation and testing efficiency

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience with software development and testing
• Interest in Software and Quality assurance
• Structured work approach and ability to create technical documentation
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience with safety-critical software
• Setup and creation of test environments
• Understanding of software lifecycles
• Proficiency with Jira, Jenkins, Git
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with Linux environments
• Knowledge of various testing types
