Job summary

SoCode Recruitment is partnering with a deep-tech Engineering company in Cambridge to recruit a Software Team Lead who will oversee a growing team of Application Developers. The role remains partly hands-on, requiring a strong C# background and progression into leadership.

You'll work with Product and other engineering teams to define solutions and ensure delivery to deadlines while maintaining performant software designed to last. The position is hybrid with three days in the office.

Cambridge – Hybrid – Three days a week in the office

We’re pleased to partner with a deep-tech Engineering business as they look to bring in a Software Team Lead to oversee a growing team of Application Developers. This position will remain partly hands-on, so we’re looking for candidates with strong C# backgrounds that have since moved into a leadership position.

The role will work closely with Product & other engineering teams to define solutions & ensure the team is delivering to deadline while maintaining sharp, performant software that’s build to last.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working with C# & .NET
• Strong experience of architectural & design principals.
• Experience of leading/guiding a team of Software Engineers
• Clear communication skills & ability to explain technical concepts to both technical & non-technical stakeholders.

Candidates outside of Cambridge must be able to drive & due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance, so are only accepting applications from British nationals/dual citizens currently.
