Job summary

Quest Global is expanding its Through Life Support Engineering team in the UK, seeking individuals for software management and IPS-focused roles. The role involves leading software support, shaping maintenance concepts, and coordinating with stakeholders across Defence-related projects.

Applicants should have a engineering degree and experience in regulated industries, with UK Defence knowledge and the ability to manage end-to-end support deliverables. Security clearance eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Experience in supportability engineering in highly regulated industries.
• Good understanding of hardware, software, firmware, data and network infra for defence products.
• Experience owning end-to-end support deliverables.
• Experience in investigation and assessment of support solutions using in-service data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the client to understand requirements and define problems clearly.
• Provide input on Software and Cyber topics for IPS plans.
• Define concepts for software maintenance and through-life support solutions.
• Create software support requirements and integrate into system design.
• Assess software obsolescence and need for tech refresh.
• Prepare Software Maintenance Analysis and Software Support Reports.
