Job Description:

Software Quality Engineer

Hybrid / Peterborough

Our client is a fast-growing, tech-driven team that's reimagining the way software is built in the motor industry. With a start-up mindset backed by decades of industry experience, this is your chance to play a key role in a newly established technology hub that’s all about innovation, collaboration, and quality.

As a Software Quality Engineer, you’ll work in an agile, cross-functional team to shape and deliver high-quality web applications. You'll be responsible for championing quality throughout the development lifecycle — from analysing requirements to test planning, automation, and supporting live releases. You’ll initially work with legacy systems and transition to a modern stack including C# .NET 9, React, Azure pipelines, CI/CD, TDD, and Test Automation.

What we’re looking for:

  • A testing professional experienced in agile environments, manual frameworks, and CI/CD
  • Ideally an ability (Or interest) to understand and read code but not write it, this role will eventually work with the Developer who writes the tests
  • Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and embraces DevOps principles
  • A clear communicator who can translate technical ideas across teams

What’s on offer:

25 days holiday + bank holidays
