Software Quality Engineer

Location: Hybrid / Peterborough

As a Software Quality Engineer, you’ll work in an agile, cross-functional team to shape and deliver high-quality web applications. You'll be responsible for championing quality throughout the development lifecycle — from analyzing requirements to test planning, automation, and supporting live releases. You’ll initially work with legacy systems and transition to a modern stack including C# .NET 9, React, Azure pipelines, CI/CD, TDD, and Test Automation.

What we’re looking for:

• An experienced testing professional in agile environments, manual frameworks, and CI/CD
• An ability (or interest) to understand and read code, though not necessarily write it; this role will collaborate with developers who write tests
• Someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting and embraces DevOps principles
• A clear communicator capable of translating technical ideas across teams
