Job summary

Aqovia is seeking a Software QA Engineer to drive quality across internal products and client-facing applications. You will focus on functional testing and grow automation, DevOps, and modern testing workflows within a fast-paced agile team.

You will build and maintain E2E test suites, test UI, APIs, and databases, collaborating to define acceptance criteria and enable smooth release cycles. The role emphasizes AI-assisted testing, Azure basics, and strong communication, with a flexible hybrid

Qualifications

• Core QA experience in an agile software development setup.
• Hands-on test automation using frameworks (Playwright, Selenium).
• Strong API testing with Insomnia/Postman and OpenAPI/Swagger; SQL querying.
• Diagnostic mindset with debugging and clear bug reporting.
• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure), version control (Git), performance testing (JMeter), and OS scripting.

Responsibilities

• Automate & Test: Build and maintain E2E test suites using JavaScript or C#.

What We’re Looking For

• Core QA Experience: Proven background in an agile software development setup.

• Test Automation: Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Playwright, Selenium).

• API & DB Proficiency: Strong background with API testing (Insomnia/Postman, OpenAPI/Swagger) and querying SQL databases.

• Diagnostic Mindset: A natural knack for breaking systems, debugging (DevTools), and filing clear, actionable bug reports.

• Tech Fundamentals: Exposure to cloud environments (Azure), version control (Git), performance testing (JMeter), and OS scripting (Windows/Unix).

• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English for client and team collaboration.

Nice to Have:

• Experience or curiosity with AI-assisted dev/test tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or AI-driven test frameworks).
